Hello, non Christian here (Muslim). I know a number of my colleagues are observing easter and that Good Friday is a day of mourning. On Sunday it is my understanding that the proper greeting is "He is risen". Is there a greeting for today? I imagine " happy good Friday " is offensive since it is a sad day, would a blessed good Friday be offensive too? Should I just wait until Sunday to wish them a happy easter, or should I wish them a "good easter weekend" today? I've googled and there appear to be "happy good Friday" greeting cards but that doesn't seem right to me.
If denominations vary in how they celebrate, one of my colleagues is Roman Catholic, another goes to a Gospel Temple, and the third is Anglican, I believe.
Thank you.
