I'm starting to HATE this Pentecostal Cult (or at least that's what it feels like) UGH! Please keep me anonymous. I am a Pentecostal woman and I was born and raised in this. I'm SICK OF IT! There are so many rules to follow for women at times I feel like I am suffocating and I'm in a cult. A few rules for women are, We cant cut our hair and it has to be worn up in a bun, women have to wear skirts at all times(everyday). You can wear a skirt down to floor everyday but your heart can be tore up and your mind can be tore up. We are not allowed to wear pants under ANY circumstances, Women cant wear make up, Women cant wear Jewelry, Women cant have any body piercings or tattoos, women must be covered from the neck down as to not "cause a man to sin lusting after you". So its the womans' fault and the womans' responsibility if a man sins after you or lust after you. So how is it a womans fault because a man cant keep his eyes off her or cant control his OWN lustful thoughts? That's so stupid! Women are to not wear nail polish, women cant wear wedding rings, women cant get manicures with false nails and the list goes on and on. Most everyone at my church has Facebook and they're all friends with each other on Facebook. I can not take it anymore going to church 3 times a week, Wednesday night Bible study, Sunday Morning worship service and Sunday night worship service, excessive camp meetings and then calling each other and texting each other all week and then Facebook friends too.... it's just to much. It's like my life is not my own but theirs. These people do not understand boundaries because I have set them and they cross them. These people literally stalk you on Facebook. They're like vultures. There is always somebody watching your page to see what you post, what you're commenting on and what groups you're in. These people are ALWAYS in your business. God forbid if you miss one freaking Sunday and visit another church then the fight is on in a passive aggressive way. I'm sick to death of wearing skirts everyday and looking soulful like I'm shooting an episode of Little House on the Prairie, I'm sick of these catty women who pretend to be loving caring Christian women who are really just Steford Wives Hypocrites. These people do not believe in watching tv or listening to secular music yet every Sunday were singing songs written and composed by LGBT individuals. I bet the Pastor and his wife would have a heart attack if they knew that. I have restricted all these people on Facebook but they just go to other friends pages to spy on me. The really wild part is the stuff I post is not filthy, vulgar, anti Pentecost or anti Christian and I still get NAILED TO THE FREAKING CROSS! I'm to the point where I literally want out because I have no freedom or life. Can you readers shed some light on this?
