For the last year, I've been preparing to apply to a highly competitive medical program. It's based off a point system; people with the highest number of points get in. There's only 18 slots. Last night, I just found out that I'm missing something really important that I never knew about that rewards an incredibly high number of points upon completion (My advisor never told me and it's not listed with the program requirements). Unfortunately, I only have a month to apply, and the task takes a minimum of four months to complete, so that's out for me. Getting into this program is my dream. I thought things were going well too until I found out about this. I've worked so hard to get the best grades for the prerequisite courses and finish up all the requirements I knew about, and I had high hopes I would make it in. Now I'm looking at applying to other schools and programs, but I'm afraid there won't be time to do so.
At this point, I'm just really frustrated and could use some prayers to help me through. I could use some peace and strength in this situation while I apply to other schools and wait six more months to find out if I made it in anywhere. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
