How do I save money?

Hi guys, I really need help. Every time when i got my salary, it will be gone in 3-5 days and it's really messing me up. On the month of December, my salary was $1K. (Btw I'm 18, still schooling but taking a part time job.) 3 days later, I'm left with $100. I don't really know what I spend it on. I know I'll give 1/2 of my salary to my family. Is there something wrong with me or is there something to do with how I handle my money?

Swagbucks at first seems too good to be true right? They are just going to give you free stuff for just searching for a word in their search engine, watching videos, answering a few simple questions.
