Ecclesiastes9:11 I realized another thing, that in this world fast runners do not always win the races, and the brave do not always win the battles. The wise do not always earn a living, intelligent people do not always get rich, and capable people do not always rise to high positions. Bad luck happens to everyone.
People don't hear a lot about this growing up. Kids are fed the line that if they get good grades that they'll get a good job. But many kids bust their tail through school only to come out of it in massive student debt and no job to be had.
Life can be a drag when you're in debt. And if you have no foundation under your life like Jesus Christ, it can feel like life makes no sense at all! Look, kids grow up with their foundation possibly being school and trying hard. Then when they're out of school, the student loan debt collectors hound them, but no one wants to help them or employ them.
If you have Jesus, you can just brush it off,"I can't take it with me anyway, so I don't need to make income. My earnings doesn't define me. All I gotta do is live and be good and loving to all. I will have infinite experiences in Heaven. There is nothing I need to experience down here."
Kids without Jesus can't easily take the route of,"Jesus was rejected in this world. I don't need to be accepted." It is a crashing down of world views when you strived your whole life for school and did well, but there are no good jobs hiring. Definitely pray for these people that they don't go criminal or self hurt. If they had Jesus, those options wouldn't be there, but many people don't have Jesus today and we should pray for them.
