Hello, I have many many questions that I am not sure where/ who to ask

I believe that I am coming into Christianity, that is what I seek and that is what I want. I am learning everyday more and more about the faith

What I am struggling with is, when does one announce themselves as Christian? What is it that makes you primarily a Christian. I am reading the bible and I think it is beautiful and learning about the human struggle that each prophet faces is interesting to read

So what is it that makes you a Christian? No, I have not read the bible fully yet... but reading the bible doesn't make you a Christian, I am sure or that. Is being a Christian shown primarily in your actions and trust in Christ?

I am aware that I am not as educated on the faith, but I am reading about it daily and finding many new things out

Also, I have recently decided to cut out contact with my father. Is this a sin in Christianity?

Never fails to amaze me when I hear atheist tell me how evolution, the big bang theory, etc are fact. I am told how great minds agree on them so they obviously have proof. Swagbucks at first seems too good to be true right? They are just going to give you free stuff for just searching for a word in their search engine, watching videos, answering a few simple questions. I view faith as one of the most misunderstood terms in of the christian faith its self. This is very strange giving the term faith is so obviously vital to the description of our belief.
