Should I have stopped my roommate?

I am a student in college living in an academic scholarship house. My roommate went out partying and after asked me via text if it was okay if he brought a girl over around 1am to watch "Netflix." I am just not sure if I should've said no and prevented him from committing a sin (making it harder, not impossible for him to commit fornication) or just say no and him probably do it somewhere else. I guess my main question is if I could stop (or at least make it harder for) someone from committing an immediate sin, do I?

Swagbucks at first seems too good to be true right? They are just going to give you free stuff for just searching for a word in their search engine, watching videos, answering a few simple questions.
